Rim Wasteland adds a completely new sense of space. This space or "paradigm" is that of constant danger looming in the background; vast open areas, isolationist terror, a false sense of safety, dilapidated structures, rugged rustic survivors, and a little bit of cheek and charm that Fallout introduced into their mythos.

The music (with minor variations) should set a moody tone easily manipulated by circumstance, meaning: mostly dark ambient with small instrumentals consisting of guitar-type and distant horns. It also means the Battle music will add a significant amount of percussive aggression as a stark contrast to the nothingness that is daily life.
