  Our first official Music Expanded Release for Rimworld! Well met! Fantasy shares an album here with medieval. In the future we may encourage a complete fantasy overhaul, but for now I'm merging the two. This is a difficult contrast, as one might say a fantasy score should be as whimsical as it is fantastical; whilst a medieval approach to Rimworld would lean towards bombastic orchestrations about death by the blade and evil royal overseers. This is just too much for me to tackle alone, so here I will reside by a selection of old-style instruments, baroque music, and an aversion towards anything synthetic.
  
  This will entirely remove anything from the Original Soundtrack that resembles Science Fiction or Technology. Magic and Mysticism will be represented by swells of strings, isolated harps, dancing bells, and plucky harmonics. Where I would normally write digital ambient music, I've instead used orchestral ambient with the occasional acoustic solo, parting the waves of symphony for a more intimate and calming portrayal of the game.
